Thompson and Douglass are both practicing clinical psychologists. However, this podcast is strictly intended for educational (and occasionally anti-educational) purposes. Both doctors bring the circus of real life experience to each episode. Working on the front lines of mental health, the moment has come to expose what it’s like to walk hand in hand out of the depths of hell. For the first time, secrets emerge from the psychologists’ treatment room. A vast world of brilliance shivers in the middle of desperate chaos: relationships, careers, money, sex, raising kids, politics, and the meaning of life. But please know, nothing in here is in any way medical advice - in fact we come from a whole different world where sickness and health dance together. And occasionally they twerk.

Douglass appears to be obsessed with dark academia. He was raised in the Himalayas, but escaped the cult at age 17 and has since mastered the art of anti-mindfulness. He practices in Washington, D.C.

Thompson doesn’t really like cigars, but still respects dudes like Freud who haven’t yet transcended their infantile oral fixation. Trained in Jungian analysis and Integral theory, he runs a therapy training clinic in Minneapolis.
